Service Description

This bodywork is a gentle, noninvasive approach that is used to release any tensions that may be affecting your baby or child’s brain and spinal cord. A skilled practitioner using about 5 grams of pressure (roughly the weight of a nickel), evaluates the CranioSacral system by testing for the ease of motion and rhythm of cerebrospinal fluid. The birth process can generate mild to severe central nervous system abnormalities. CST can potentially reduce a wide spectrum of health challenges, any of which may not be noticeable until after the early developmental stages From conception, a child's life is a whirlwind of change and development. These changes from the birth story to just the adjustment period for baby and parent can be overwhelming. CranioSacral Therapy can help weave together the family so that the baby can feel supported and safe to ease into a peacful transition. PEDIATRIC CRANIOSACRAL SESSION Cost: Sliding Scale of $85.00 We plan for an hour for the first visit and it may only take 30 minutes it all depends on the babies needs. There maybe a followup visit prior to the first consultation. The next visit could be less time depending on the needs of the baby. ​ My Experience: Bodywork - I use gentle, conscious mindful craniosacral bodywork, soft tissue manual therapy techniques to help maximize baby's tongue function which can be effective during breastfeeding. I use gentle, soft tissue manual therapy techniques pre and post surgeries. This is very helpful when parents are needing assistance with baby’s healing of the tongue and function of the tongue. TummyTime!™ I am a tummy time certified instructor. I help teach parents fun tummy time positions that are helpful with tongue tie, optimizing breastfeeding and tongue/throat mobility. Conscious parenting program. I teach parents about post natal yoga through mindful restorative poses that can help parents bond and relax with their baby. Some common symptoms that may point to the infant being tongue/ lip tied include: ​ general breast feed issues poor weight gain nipple pain/soreness poor latch sliding off the nipple fatigue during feeds sleepy feeds clicking during a feed increased breast infections stomach issues (gassy, reflux, pooping issues) Post Natal Home Visits I will plan a home visit to work with you and your baby. Together with my Conscious Parenting Program we will come up with a plan to give you and your baby the treatment that i
